Mar 12 Styled Shoot: Harrison Farm with Heart to Home Events

This shoot was pure magic. It was something straight out of a woodland fairytale, complete with chickens, farm cats and unruly goats. Everything came together so beautifully and Lindsey (from Heart to Home Event Planning) really brought the magic factor with all of her stylings and complete planning of this shoot. Styled shoots have been ramping up in our world but this one remains one of my absolute favorites, it was simple and everyone worked so well together. The images are nothing short of fantastic as Carly and Kasey from Drzazga Photo poured their hearts into this shoot. Thank you to all of the vendors involved as well as our fabulous models!!

VENUE: Harrison Farm, Groveport, OH.

This venue has been a long time favorite of ours. The farm hosts camping on a regular basis so we have worked with them in the past to set up surprise engagements as well as some glamping guests just looking to escape the city. The farm is quaint and scenic but close enough to town for shopping/ local eateries. The highlight of the farm would be the animals. From goats to chickens to lambs, this farm has no shortage of cuddly creatures who are always looking to meet their new guests. They even host sporadic goat yoga on the weekends in which a few of their goats actually join in on the stretches.

The farm provides a produce stand to feed the community on top of the beautiful grounds set forth for camping. They operate tours if you’re interested in learning about animal agriculture and they even have a restored airplane hanger onsite that can provide a covered area for your reception/ dinner party. This property really is a beautiful hidden gem, we thought about not sharing it in order to keep it hidden for ourselves, but they deserve all of the recognition in the world. So here we are, spreading the news… if you’re in need of an absolutely stellar venue for your small party/ event/ camping stay. Please seek out Harrison Farm!

FLORALS: Merkels Flowers, Mentor, OH

If you’re looking for truly unique florals for your wedding/ event, look no further than Merkels Flowers! The arrangements made for this shoot were absolutely stunning. The elevated design really turned up the level on this shoot. They were a crowd pleaser with all of the humans involved and definitely a popular component with the goats- who obviously found them delicious.
